Self Care isn't Selfish

You can’t pour from an empty cup—and you shouldn’t have to. This space is here to remind you that your care matters too. I really believe self-care should feel doable, decently quick and not overwhelming. These tiny steps help me reset when life feels too loud, too fast, or just too much.

Whether you’ve got 2 minutes or 2 hours (LOL jk), there’s something here to support your nervous system and your soul.

  • Physical Wellness Must Haves

Taking care of your body doesn’t have to mean hours at the gym or complicated routines. For me, it’s about keeping things simple and doable — moving my body in ways that fit into mom life. These are the tools and habits that help me feel stronger, more energized, and more grounded in my day.

    • At-Home Movement – A quick walk around the block, light stretching, or a 10-minute YouTube workout makes all the difference
    • Strength Training Basics – If I can squeeze in gym time, I stick to simple lifts (squats, deadlifts, presses) that build strength and confidence
    • Yoga Mat – My spot for stretching, low-pressure flows, or even just laying down to breathe
    • Foam Roller or Massage Ball – Eases tension from long days on my feet or working at a desk
    • Daily Walks – Free, refreshing, and my favorite way to clear my head while moving my body
  • Mental Wellness Must-Haves

These are the tools and habits I have used to protect my peace, quiet my mind, and come back to center - especially when life feels overwhelming.

    • BetterHelp – Easy access to online therapy (because support should be flexible)
    • Breathwrk – Guided breathwork exercises for stress, energy, and sleep
    • Notion Journal Template – My digital safe space for venting, brain dumping, and affirming
    • Post-it Notes – Old-school, but essential — a brain offload tool I use daily
    • Hydration Reminder App – Because drinking water truly does help my mood

Self Care comes in so many forms, & you deserve it.
